Hi everyone

I have my first wedding cake to make for March. It is 3 tiers. Here is the picture I have been asked to recreate:

Are there any tutorials to show me how to assemble the flowers? I know I have to assemble them in sections, but do I have a wire that runs through the middle and then the flowers are all attached to the wire?! I'm sure it's perfectly simple, but until I start making and trying to assemble them, I'm losing sleep for fear of it all going wrong.

I'm not a novice cake maker, this is just my first wedding cake and I want it to go right without too much stress.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Stacey

Hi! I made my first wedding cake last year! about your flower question, I don't think you need a wire that connects all flowers together. You will need to make flowers and leaves on their own florist wire. about the placement of the flowers and leaves, start placing the leaves first then the flowers.

I highly recommend Jennifer Dontz's DVD on floral arranging on cakes!! She goes over fresh flowers as well as gum paste, and it was very helpful for me!
