Hi folks

If I were to do a two tier cake, I'd use cardboard boards, with bubble tea straws for support.

What if I was doing a 4-5 tier cake, would that same support structure be sufficient? Or would I be safer to switch to wooden boards and wooden dowels?

P.S. SPS is not an option.

Some people are okay with wooden dowels, but they slide too much for me.

Bubble tea straws will be great. Tons of people here use bubble tea straws. I've only done a 4 tier cake, but it worked great for me too. =)

I use dowels and they work out great for me.

It probably will come down to personal preference and what you feel is the best fit. icon_smile.gif
