I have been asked to make 200 simple cake pops for a wedding. I've never made anything close to that amount so am kind of nervous. I was wondering if anyone knows how many pounds of chocolate I might need? And what size sticks and bags is best to use? Thank you

I'm interested to see responses because I have been asked to make 260 total (130 brides & 130 grooms) for wedding favors. Will be keeping an eye on your post icon_smile.gif

Last year, I made around 450 cake balls for my husbands clients. For every bag of candy melts (12 oz. and about 2 T crisco), I can dip around 2 dz with just enough to drizzle them. For cake pops, I usually use the 4 1/2 or 6 in. lollipop sticks and the bags are 3x4.75 in.
HTH...have fun! thumbs_up.gif
