Hello all, I made some fondant cut out flowers to go on the side of a cake. They are completely dry and look very dull. Is there a way to bring them back to life? They are made from homemade mmf and they look powdery and dull. Any suggestions? Thanks

take some clear vanilla extract and a small brush and put some of the vanilla in the cap and just brush over your cut outs always works for me and that's the trick that my teacher showed us in class.

You can also paint them with a little bit of icing color mixed with vodka or clear vanilla, to give them more color and some shine that will last for several days.
