What is the best way to put the ribbon on the cake board? What is the best way to apply around the bottom of the cake itself?
I use hot glue to apply the ribbon on the cake board. I leave the cake on my turner and it seems liek it goes on smoother and more quickly.
For ribbon on cakes, I use a corsage pin to hold it and I make two trips around the cake with the ribbon if it's buttercream. BC will bleed through one layer of ribbon, but I have not had it go through 2 layers.
