I've been using the Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate icing recipe on the back of the can for the longest time as my go-to chocolate icing. Lately though, it's lost its appeal to me, and I'm ready to try something new. I'll be doing a chocolate cake this weekend that I will top with bacon, so I'm looking for something that would pair well with it. Perhaps something a little more "whipped" than the Hershey's recipe? Do you guys have anything you recommend?

I've used whipped chocolate ganache as a filling in the past, but never as an icing. I'd prefer to use something that doesn't require refrigeration if possible.
