I am making 6 sheet cakes for a reception on Saturday afternoon. I have most of them baked and am baking the rest tonight. I was hoping to fill and frost some of them tonight and the rest tomorrow night.
I was wondering if it will be okay for them to be decorated tonight and still moist and delicious on Saturday? Should I brush on a little simple syrup before filling and frosting them?
As long as you keep them covered, either in plastic wrap before you ice or with icing, they will stay moist.
