Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to the cupcake world. I've been experimenting lately with recipes trying to get something similar to a cupcake I had not too long ago. It was a chocolate cake and super fluffy. The whole cupcake was soft (no crust) , moist, and it just melted in my mouth. I've tried so many chocolate cake recipes and most all of them have been dense. I try not to over mix, and I do the flour, water, flour, water, flour ratio thing. Is it something I'm doing or have I just not found the right recipe? I think the cupcake I had was from scratch, but none of my scratch recipes are fluffy...

Give the Hershey's recipe a try. It's on the back of the cocoa can. It does make a really fluffy and moist cake. I happen to like very dense cakes but the Hershey's recipe is really good.

I agree with AnnieCahill. I just made some cupcakes with it yesterday for my kids' snack. It is very light and fluffy, and tastes great.
