I need help! I am baking a cake for a friend's son for his first b-day. I'm doing a sock monkey face and want to get the multicolor (brown and ivory) look like is on the invitation. I was planning to use a star tip but I am willing to do anything--just want it to look awesome. Thanks in advance for help!

Are you using fondant? If you grate some white chocolate over the brown fondant when you roll it out and press it in you will have the look you need. I hope that makes sense and helps icon_smile.gif

Not using fondant this time, but that is a GREAT idea for when I do! Thanks! Using cream cheese frosting this time.

I know you said you're not using fondant but this tutorial is fantastic. Might give you some ideas for your forsting.
