Luster Dust Vs. Pearl Dust

What is the difference?? Similarities? When do you choose one vs. the other?? Thx

I think people use the terms interchangeably...Some brands are marekd edible or non-toxic, some people don't want to eat them and some don't care. Crystal Colors makes a line of shiny dusts that are edible and FDA approved, so those are a good option.

Luster dusts are generally colors that have shimmer.

Pearl dusts are usually pearly white that have color undertones (like a iridescent colors).

Wilton calls theirs Pearl Dusts, though to me all by the white are really what is considered Luster Dusts.
