Once a cake is finished, I have notice some of them,(not mine) have a pearl look to the icing.
DUMB question: How do I do that? Is it a Spray, I have tried a dust, it did not work. Please help.

I use luster dust and vodka in the airbrush when I want the pearlized look.

It can also be a meringue buttercream, which does not crust and stays glossy, almost pearl-like.
