I made up a zillion fondant pearls yesterday evening and now I need to make them, well, pearly.

I have some Wilton pearl shimmer dust and I was wondering what the best way is to use it. Should I mix it up with some extract and paint it on or just shake the pearls up in a sandwich bag with the powder?

Thanks,
Annie

I have found mixing my dust with some extract ( or vodka ) and painting them works best for me.
I have done the dry brushing of them and wasn't as pleased with the texture.
