Hi every body

i was wondering how can you deal with the dummy cakes

Its too light its keep moving when I apply bc

Any tips ?

Stick a meat fork into the bottom of it and ice it while you are holding it still. I am talking about one of the narrow metal forks used to turn cooking meat over in a fry pan. It works very well actually.

I made a "dummy decorator" is consists of (from the bottom up): glass block, 3" piece of pipe with a lip inside it, 3 nails. This is all hot-glued together and the nail heads sit on the lip inside the pipe. You can get all of this from Lowe's or Home depot for about $10 and assemble in minutes for a permanent solution icon_smile.gif

(to use: turntable with non-skid, glass block, cake dummy impaled on nails. you can also place the dummy on a larger cardboard round before impaling if you want it sitting on a horizontal surface and not just hanging in air)
