I have had a request for a cake with a Vanilla Strawberry Banana Custard filling. I need it to NOT require refrigeration. Suggestions?
That's a tough one seeing as normally a custard / cream filling would need to be refrigerated. The only thing I can think of is possibly using the pudding cups that aren't in the refrigerated section , or canned vanilla pudding with some fresh strawberries and bananas . Check the labels 1st though , not sure if they ned to be refrigerated once opened but thats' what we used for filling in our cake decorating classes . Hope this helps.
