I know I read somewhere but cannot find it about people having problems sometimes with their cake balls oozing from the top and/or bottom. Anyone know why this happens. I just had it happen on a couple of mine and have never had this happen before. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Lynn, I have and that is because I might have used too much shortening. What I do is lay out a piece of paper towel and then take the ball when it's totally dry and put in down on the paper towel for a couple of minutes. Then lift it and look at the bottom and you shouldn't see anymore oil. I've done that a few times and no one can tell I had that problem. I hope that helps.

Thanks for the tip. I will try that if I have a problem again.
