Does anyone know how to make a red velvet cake roll? I want to use a doctored cake mix recipe. What do I need to add or subtract to make the cake roll?
this resipe makes 7 rolls
3 boxes of r.v. cake mix
1 2/3 cup of oil
1 1/3 cup water ( adding up to 2 1/3 if to thick)
3/4 cup of chopped pecans if desired
pre heat oven to 350. blend all ingredents for 3- 5min. add the nuts if desired. pour 1 3/4 cup of mixer in cookie sheet roll pan baking 10-15 min. allow to cool completely then ice and roll put in freezer allow 4-6 hrs to freeze take out cut and serve.
they are easiest to cut if frozen.
Blend all ingredients for about 3-5min except nuts
