Hello - I am looking for a recipe for an eggnog cake rum filling, rum cake eggnog filling combination for the holiday, however there weren't many recipes out there when i searched 'eggnog'. Does anyone have any good recipes or suggestions?

That is exactly what I am about to bake . I made it the past 2 years at Christmas time and it is always a hit.

WASC - Eggnog Version

1 box white cake mix
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
8 oz. sour cream
1 tsp. good quality vanilla or rum extract
1 1/3 cups prepared eggnog
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 whole eggs (or 4 egg whites)

Filling, replace some or all of liquid in your buttercream recipe with eggnog and/or replace a few tbs. with rum.
