For our out of state family and friends I will be sending small cake ball packages. So far I have made vanilla with vanilla candy coating, vanilla with chocolate coating, red velvet with chocolate coating, chocolate with chocolate coating, chocolate with vanilla candy coating, and chocolate with vanilla and chocolate coating together. None of these really WOWED me. Everyone else talked about how much they loved them and how great they are. I must love frosting too much bc I just am not a huge fan. So maybe trying better combinations may do it? What are your favorite Combinations?

I make cake pops but a cake ball is the same thing. So I have MANY flavors that I use for them. I will just make a list if you would like recipes or need help please feel free to get ahold of me via facebook or email. [email protected]
Lemon Drop (The #1 flavor that my clients, friends, and family LOVE!) lemon cake lemon coating
Key Lime Coconut- coconut cake key lime coating sprinkled with coconut
Peppermint Patty- white cake peppermint coating
Spice- spice cake white coating
Apple Cider- apple cider cake white coating cinnamon and sugar sprinkles
Gingerbread- gingerbread cake white coating
Pumpkin- pumpkin cake chocolate coating
Cookies n Cream- cookies n cream cake white coating crushed oreo sprinkles
Banana- banana cake chocolate coating crushed walnut sprinkles
Margarita- Margarita cake lime coating
You can add the flavors to the coatings if you use a flavored oil. You can get them from Hobby Lobby in the candy section. Make sure they are oils and not just flavors or it will cease your coatings.
Hope this helps! Merry Christmas!

i like the "rum ball" concept...fun for adults
kahlua praline- chocolate cake, praline, mocha buttercream, chocolate coating
grand marnier- chocolate cake, ganache, orange liqueur, chocolate coating
rum- vanilla cake, ganache, rum, chocolate coating
baileys- chocolate, baileys, ganache
red red velvet- red velvet, raspberry preserves, cream cheese buttercream, white coating
pb - peanut butter cake or chocolate cake with pb and chocolate coating
add chocolate ganache to chocolate or white chocolate ganache to vanilla

add just a little liqueur, to flavor,
it can get too gooey fast

don't feel limited to buttercream
