what is your go to frosting recipe i am trying to find one for cupcakes..
Do you want crusting or non?
I like '2 of everythinng' only make it crust by cutting down on the total amount of butter &/or Crisco.
2 of everything b'cream
2 cups of butter
2 cups of Crisco
2 pounds powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons flavoring
2 pinches of salt
Cream together the butter & Crisco well - up to 10 minutes; add sugar in 3 parts mixing well between each; add salt and flavoring.
For a crusting version cut either the butter OR Crisco by 1 cup OR 1/2 cup of each. NO liquid (except the flavoring) is used in the recipe. Even the salt is optional.
