These ladies have some very unique dessert tables for birthdays, weddings, baptisms and quinceaneras. They are based out of Mexico. I can't imagine the amount of work that goes into them. Thought I'd share!

I love Amy Atlas.

I'll add to that the Hostess with the Mostest site.

Imagen, she has a book coming out. I think it may be already listed on Amazon, but the pub date I think is 2012.

I've started doing those buffets and they are the most fun. I have two smaller ones done, but I have a wedding on 12/30 going all out. I've also teamed with a well-known cake designer to work together promoting the buffets. My license isn't limited, so I cand do hors d'oeuvres plus dessert/candy/cake. I have two weddings booked for full buffets in the spring. I have a graphic designer who does beautiful print work for the buffets.

Her book comes in April. At my job one of the graphic designers was friends with her so I started following her blog from the very beginning. I'm not preordering the book but I'll know the day is out. I just got 8 books and don't have time this month for much reading. Do you know if the new Miette book is out yet? I just want it because it's pretty.

I finally got my hands on the beautiful Laduree book. Thank goodness I got 3 copies because it's gone again from everywhere. I took it to work to show my coworkers. Within 1 hour, 6 graphic designers who don't bake had placed an order. It's the most beautiful little book we've seen. I think that might happen with the Amy Atlas book too.

You're going to have your hands full, SCP! Congratulations on the orders. I hope your daughters are helping?

Toot away, MamaMia808. I love your tables. I remember seeing them when you uploaded them. You should be proud. They're gorgeous.

Imagen, that Laduree book has been on my amazon list for awhile now. I think I'll order it. I just got my free corrected version of Miette about three weeks ago. Order from Amazon in case it's not right, but mine was replaced by them after they had credited me for two incorrect books. It was a complete surprise to get the corrected book.

I'm a small business, so I only take on what I want. With everything on my menu a la carte, the buffets just fell into place.

Do hope you are able to get it. I placed more orders with B&N and they keep on delaying. On this first link (he's the translator) there are discussions about the different versions. Keeps on being reprinted and then disappearing from all the sellers. I am glad I got to send it to my friend in NZ ahead of time. It does have beautiful desserts for tables. Going to find that Miette book now. Thanks for the info!
