I need to make either scrolls or snowflakes for a wedding cake next week and they want them to be silver. Can I mix some airbrush color ( i don't own a machine) to buttercream or royal icing for piping on buttercream?

Thanks!

I don't know about using silver, but I have often used other airbrush colors in b'cream. Are you piping these away from the cake or right on the cake? You might be better off just painting the ab color on - especially if you use royal and make the snowflakes off the cake.

Hum...maybe that is an idea to make them with royal off the cake then paint them.Never thought about it, so THANKS so much for the great idea!
