Hi!
I am working on getting together a bunch of really good muffin recipes. So far the ones i tried have more of a soft top and i am looking for the kind of muffin that has a good crust on the outside and soft on the inside. Kind of like what you would buy at a bakery.
All my baking in non dairy so i have been using recipes that call for oil and instead of milk i use almond milk. what kind of recipe will give me that nice crust? do you have any ones to share?
thank you!

If baking in a gas oven, start the muffins at 400 degrees and drop temp after a few minutes. And very important:place on top rack. This method has worked in every gas range or commercial oven I've ever used, but not in an electric oven.
