Okay so I am thinking about doing this style cake (not design) in either an oval or circle and was wondering how to figure serving size.

So the 10x7 oval feeds 26 according to the Wilton chart. If I was to use this one I assume I need to back at least 3 cakes to stack, then cut down two layers leaving the bottom one as the "stage". What would be my servings?

Or if I was to do the 8" round cake that feeds 24 according to Wilton chart.

Am I correct to assume I would need to stack 3 cakes to get this effect or 4 cakes?

** I need the cake to be able to feed at minimum 20 ppl.

Any help or suggestions is great apprecated. Thanks in advance for any help.

The servings are the same... one layer is whole and the other layer is cut in half with both half rounds stacked.

Thank you. That is what I hoped. Was not sure if it was just 2 cakes or 3. Your insight was helpful!
