Can anyone enlighten me on how to do a standing Bride and Groom! I have modeled alot of figures, but not sure how to do them standing. Do you let the legs dry first and then assemble?

Not sure how anyone else does it, but when I do standing figures I use a wire frame like a skeleton inside. That way I can poke the ends of the legs into a styrofoam block so they stand while I model onto the frame.

I've only done one (in my pics) it was a mommy to be standing on one leg. I used a dowel for that leg and then attached wire for the arms and other legs. Worked out great so I could push the dowel into the cake to hold her up. i also used modeling chocolate so I could handle it longer than gumpaste and flaws were easily fixable.

Most times I just use spagetti for the extra support they need to keep them upright. Yes, I think it works best to allow the legs to dry for awhile before adding the torso.
