I've seen the commercials for this and I want one. But I admit that maybe the commercial isn't the best tool for making up my mind about a $400 purchase.

Anybody here own one or know someone who does? What do you/they think of it?

That's the one. I am not happy with my current system of accordion files.

I already do this with my scanner on my edible ink printer. I scan everything, signed order forms, receipts, sketches, etc. and file them chronologically. All my files are saved by "yyyy.mm.dd Description" and i have a folder for each client, all receipts, etc. Every year near the event I made a cake for, I send an email note reminding them of my services for their upcoming birthday, anniversary, etc. It works great and I can email anything at a moments notice. It's the best thing I ever started doing, I keep no paper. Two tips though, make sure to keep up on it and backup your data in several different locations in case your computer crashes. You'll love it!!
