I have a cake friend who is doing a wedding cake and needs me to make the roses out of royal icing... How much should I charge for each doz of royal icing roses

Wholesale or retail? What size?

They are worth at least as much as it would cost her to buy them elsewhere, if yours look just as good, or even more if yours look better.

If you search prices online and in local hobby/craft stores, you'll find small roses can average .56 each (.47-.65), and large roses can average .57 each (.36-1.00) depending on the quantity (pk/6-pk/90). Of course, they are all machine-made roses that definitely look machine made.

I hope this gives you an idea of what you can charge, based on what they typically sell for.
