Vanilla Cake Filling

I have a cake order with a vanilla filling. Im just getting started in cake decorating and Im not sure what kind of filling that would be. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear it.

Could be a vanilla pastry cream. That would be my first thought. But I would ask to clarify what they are referring to.

Icing can be made with vanilla so maybe that will do??

I'm assuming that the filling amounts are for one layer of filling per size. Would this be correct?

Could also be a Vanilla butter cream. I believe I found the recipe here on CC, it's made
with liquid Vanilla coffee's very good
