I have an aunt who is coming into town from Missouri on Saturday. It's also her birthday on that day too. Well, she is really into old victorian stuff and I though a hat box cake to surprise her would be awesome with some pearls, gloves and antique looking stuff all around. Well, here is my dilemma...I am doing this for the first time. I have no idea how the lid is propped open and stays. How do you do this?? Also any other ideas are welcome. I just want it to be great!! Thanks guys!
