Hi all! I have never used bubble straws to dowel any of my cakes before but I think I am going to try them. Will they be enough support for a 8 inch round, 10,12,14 inch square wedding cake? Thanks for the help!

Yes, as long as you use enough (1 per every 2 inches of cake circumference being supported), cut them level and even to each other, and place them properly---same as any other type of support.

Yes it will. That's all I use to support my cakes. You can check out my pics and you'll see all the cakes I have done using bubble tea straws icon_smile.gif
