I need help asap please........I am trying to help a friend out with a very short notice, (like 1 day). The person who was making her cake had to cancel due to an emergency. She has asked me to make a Sweet 16 cake, they want MMF with Buttercream flowers & Borders!!! Can you put buttercream on MMF and will it be ok??? I have to make it today, because they will be traveling to another city for the party tomorrow. No time to make Fondant Flowers. OMG.......I AM FREAKING OUT!!!

Of course, you'll be fine!! I do that all the time when I don't feel like mixing the royal icing. In fact this cake here is fondant with buttercream accents (and fondant flowers.) http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2093290 I piped it the night before and it was just fine. Good luck! icon_biggrin.gif
