Can anyone help me out here - my creative well has run dry! I have been asked to do a WWE wrestling themed cake, but they really don't want a ring - can anyone suggest an alternative, as i know nothing about wrestling and am stuck for ideas! TFL xx

How funny...I had the same request and it's due on Monday. I think I'm going to try & make a wrestling belt. You can give that a try!

Definitely a wrestling championship belt! One of my caker friends has done a few of those and they were always a hit with her customers!

That would be a tough one for me too...I would have the title belt wrap around the cake and the WWE logo on the top.

Do they have a favorite wrestler? Some of them wear masks or fancy costumes and you could work that into the design.

This post totally made me laugh out loud. Last year we did a FN Challenge for WWE wrestling and that was the discussion. What can we make that is not a ring? We don't want to make a ring, everyone will make a ring...

See if you can find out favorite wrestlers, they all have something that makes them unique and then you can use that to theme up your cake.

You could always try a cake designed like a building, then have a wrestler with the bride thrown over his shoulder or him holding her in one arm with the other in the air...along with a championship belt across the bottom with their initials...then add wrestling theme around it

There are 21 pages of WWE cakes in the galleries. Maybe you can find an idea there.

When i did several, i made the favorite wrestlers of the client. Of course they were in the ring. One over the one that lost and one standing at the ropes with his arms up for winning, etc.
