I almost never get to play with a more mature palette of flavors...everyone always orders vanilla or chocolate with a rare red velvet thrown in. Anyhow I'm doing that cupcakes for my sil baby shower and I can make whatever I want I made chocolate with chocolate chip cheese cake icing, dark Chocolate filled with orange curd and chocolate butter cream, banana with peanut butter icing and chocolate ganache and strawberry. I was going to do cream cheese icing but I'm thinking maybe trying champagne buttercream but I can't decide if that sounds delicious or kind of gross. Has anyone tried it? What did you think of it?
Sorry, but I'm a little confused as to what cupcake & filling were going to have the champagne frosting?
