A friend would like 2 8inch round cakes for her friends 60th birthday. One is chocolate cake with a mint cream cheese filling covered with ganache. Preferably pourable.
The other is a marble cake with possibly chocolate frosting but they are open as to what flavor. I was maybe thinking a caramel SMBC or a fudgy chocolate flavor.
My question is any ideas on decorating so they don't look so much like 2 totally different cakes...without fondant. I like the idea of the rose swirl cakes that are so popular but I'm having a hard time seeing things together.

I've done a few orders where I put 2 cakes side by side and decorated them sort of alike. Look through my photos.
