my cakes with fondant always look super greasy ! i add confection sugar and i work it in and then i come back to still looking really greasy help! thanks so much!
When you roll it out, try dusting your surface with cornstarch. Maybe that will help.
What fondant are you using?
as i am rolling i continuously rub icing sugar in, and when it is on the cake i rub my hands in icing sugar and rub all over the cake, even with dark colours as it gives a matt finish rather than a shiny one

Wilton's fondant shouldn't become greasy. I've worked with it many of times and have never had that issue.
Are you putting it in the fridge? How are you rolling it out?
again thanks for the help and no i am not keeping it in the fridge i am just taking it out and rolling it out like normal and it looks fine until i roll it onto my cake
