Hi,

I am making ganache frosting for my chocolate cupcakes and buttercream for my vanilla cupcakes. They'll be topped with Mickey Mouse decorations. I was wondering if there is a way for me to make the frosting shiny. I appreciate the help!!!

You can make ganache glossy by adding corn syrup to it...you'll probably only get a shiny application by either pouring or dipping though...I think the results from spreading or piping it on may not be as glossy.

I agree. I was thinking that would be the case, but hoping there was something else I could do. Thanks for the help!
