Hi and I know this may have been answered before but I cant seem to get an exact answer to help me. My huge problem is my cakes not having a smooth finish to them. I carve and crumbcoat them so they look so smooth then when I put the fondant on it sages down and ripples my cake. PLEASE HELP. I have tried both box and home recipes but the same result.It seems the cake sags as gravity takes over but how can I fix that? I tried putting weighted things on it for a few hours and while that helps it does not fix my problem. It sucks to do all this work and then have the last part of the process ruin my cake. Any tips or recipes would help a ton. Thanks in advance.
