Help! I have a great, yummy, moist cake recipe that I love using... but as I start to stack these cakes they tend to crack and breakapart (maybe too moist?) I can usually fix it but any suggestions on what is happening? Thanks!
Are you leveling the layers before you stack them?
Maybe too moist or not quite dense enough to support the weight. Some people add a box of pudding to their cake recipes to bulk it up, or add another egg.
