Using Glitter/pixie Dust On Flowers

Will be using glitter and pixie dust on flowers . Did a test run yesterday and discoverd the pixie dust does not adhere well even after steaming. Any suggestions?

If you are talking about gumpaste flowers, maybe painting on a thinned out layer of piping gel (thin with a bit of water and mix it up), the glitter and pixie dust should stick to that. That's my only suggestion.
