help please..im have been using the wilton d2 to create buttercream roses on my cupcakes...but today they have all gone wrong. when icing to rose it seems like the swirl is breaking up, like air bubbles or something..its causing the icing to not join smoothly when swirling..its hard for me to explain...i thought something was lodged in the tip but after i washed it its still doing it..i altered the consistancy of the icing but its still looking rubbish! any suggestions

That happens to me sometimes with tip 1M. After researching turns out, when I take breaks I place my piping downwards in a tall cup, it seems that the metal opening is getting closer to each other/closing every time I put it in the cup(if that makes sense ;/) try using a knife to open the tip a bit. Worked with me!

Wilton makes a tip saver tool that will open your tips.
