What are your go to flavour combinations for kids parties? I have a cake coming up for my niece who is turning 2. I was thinking WASC with mini chocolate chips in it and then a regular vanilla buttercream. What do you think? What do you usually make for kiddies?

Only you know what your family likes best. Most of my cakes have been for orders and I make whatever the customer asks for. Your idea sounds good to me icon_smile.gif

I've found kids mainly like "basic" flavors -- white cake, yellow cake, chocolate cake, stuff like that. They don't get into the more exotic cake flavors.

peanutbutter & jelly, Oreo cookie, and anything with candy sprinkles!

Yeah, chocolate is a firm choice for my kids cakes.

Vanilla and Chocolate flavors are best! Even Oreo BC. I would stay away from allergens like nuts and coconut...

Confetti cake. I just add two or three tablespoons of colored jimmies to the dry ingredients.

In my family there are two choices, white and funfetti (Pillsbury's confetti brand), which is also white! A lot of kids don't even eat chocolate. Occassionally, yellow gets eaten too! Good luck!
