Last night I was doing some cupcakes and cake balls for my husband's work. And it hit me what a great idea this was.
Tastings & Open houses, you make the little cake balls, and set out bowls of different flavor icings with a spoon along with little plates, stick a toothpick in each ball, and that way your clients can spoon some different icings onto their plates and taste each flavor of cake with different icings. I'm going to do this for my open house

you might try decorating bags (disposables) with the different flavors, might keep things a little cleaner.
