Today I received a call from one of the High Schools located about 25 minutes away from my kitchen. They have a senior monitoring program that allows the senior to "shadow" someone in their chosen profession for a day. I am super excited & honored that the student & school picked me. I've always said that one day down the road I would like to mentor and do an internship for others wanting to learn the business. This feels like the 1st step towards accomplishing one of my dreams.
