I have an order for a Candyland cake and need to know how to price it. The cake will be a 14 inch square with buttercreme frosting and fondant accents. any help will be appreciated.

Calculate cost of ingredients, estimate the time you think it will take from start to finish. Figure out how much you want to charge per hour (We charge $10/hour for basic work, $15 for more complicated). Add cost of ingredients and labor together, then add your profit (usually 20%-30%) and add any overhead. HTH!

Thanks for the pricing tip. I always struggle with pricing. Especially now that I am getting into more custom cakes.
