From time to time, I check the Cake Girls website in hopes that they'll start up again -- they closed because of a fire a few years back. I live in Chicago and am a big fan.

Wow, that IS good news! That fire was such a tragedy, and it can't be easy rebuilding something that huge from the ground up. I wish them the very best and hope they're up and running soon.

That paragraph has been there for a while, though. I wonder if the date changes every day. I'll make sure to check tomorrow and see if the date is tomorrow's date.
