I feel so awful. My niece-in-law asked me to make a cake for her baby shower (she's having twins) , and I was thinking the party as NEXT weekend. Turns out it was today, and I didn't even realize it until someone called to ask whey we never showed up. It's the first time I every missed a delivery, and I feel so, so, so awful

I had the decorations 80% done and they are were just adorable....but now every time I look at them, it just makes me feel like bad.

Anyone else ever missed a delivery?

Uhg....it sucks but many, many people have gotten delivery dates messed up!


Save the decorations for when the baby is born....I KNOW the couple will appreciate a delicious, whimsical cake after the delivery!

And don't beat yourself up!
