Is there such a thing as white butter? I am so tired of the yellow butter when making buttercreme icing. I want white white icing!
It's out there but you'll dish out a pretty penny for it. You can find it in most health food stores and even in some organic markets.
Did you ever try adding a touch of violet coloring to your icing? It cancels out the yellow so it makes it brighter.
Americolor has a "bright white" gel that you could add to your buttercream as well.
I will have to try the violet coloring idea, how much? Just a toothpick amount?
Yep just add in a tiny bit at a time until you start to see the yellow disappear.
The other poster's idea about the white coloring was good too. I've heard a lot of people use that successfully.
