I need to expand my portable storage system. Right now I will move things from my home to my rental kitchen, things that I don't want to have duplicates of like fondant smoothers, cutters, colors, tips, etc. I have so outgrown the big wilton box and was thinking of getting some sort of portable rolling cart like scrapbookers use. But I don't want it to be so scrapbook specific that I'm not utilizing the space (like slots for pens).

Does anyone have a system or a container for moving a larger amount of stored tools? I guess it doesn't have to necessarily roll like luggage, because it would be going from the house to the SUV to the bakery. It just has to have little drawers and big compartments for gear.

thanks!

I ran out of room for alot of my supplies, so i went to home depot and got a rolling tool box, its called the Fat max by stanley, it is the BIG one that rolls out and when you open it it slides out for more storage.... I love it...

heres a link to it, i hope it shows up if not its called the FatMax 4 in 1 work station...

For the ones with open-top drawers, I suppose stuff might fall out if you had to lay it down in your SUV. Also, some have fairly shallow drawers. My sister got this one for her daughter--it has a couple of bigger drawers:

I have two of these that I use for the Wilton classes. They work great, and have held up really well. Plus aren't very expensive. icon_smile.gif
