I have done the ruffle cake with buttercream, but do you think it could be done with the ombré effect? Or would it be too hard to seamlessly transition colors? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
I've done ombre ruffles and loved it! (sorry, I don't have any pics loaded) I just colored three different colors of pink, started with the darkest at the bottom of my cake (it was only one tier) and worked my way up to the lightest. Looks great!
