Hi everyone, I am making an aquarium cake and I need to know if anyone can tell me how to make the fondant look like water. I'm trying for a more realistic look and not just plain blue. Any suggestions?

Maybe you can use piping gel that's been tinted blue? That's what I would use.

Thanks very much doramoreno62 and mbyrne for your response. I'll be trying the piping gel.

Try adding a chunk of white fondant into the blue, and when you roll it out, you will get a marbling effect that resembles water.
