Cupcations

I have a lot of left over fondant flowers & cut outs. Some of them go back to 4 months.
Are they safe to eat? I have them stored in a card board box.

They should be fine as long as they're nice and dry. They may have a slightly stale flavor--sort or like old marshmallows.
